Tablet Computers are, in my personal opinion the next big thing. I know that some people (probably most people)would disagree with me, and they may be right, but I don"t think so. One of the reasons I don"t think so is because of the massive increase in tablet sales in the past year.
The second reason is that Tablet Computers are gaining more and more functionality with every new one released. For example, Sony is releasing two new tablets later this year that are certified to run ps1 and psp games, and that"s on top of a full version of android.
The third reason is that tablets are fun and just plain cool. Another few reasons are that tablets are portable, useful, and with the right apps, educational. In fact, the only disadvantage of tablets(in my opinion)is that they require an app to do almost anything.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1
For example, lets say I wanted to sign up for Netflix right now. All I would have to do on my computer is open up my web browser and go to Netflix.com, and sign up. If I wanted to do the same thing on a Tablet Computer I would first have to find and download the Netflix app, then sign up. I know that"s not a big problem, but its the same story with everything(youtube, facebook, twitter), and after awhile it can get a little old.
Some people don"t see the point in getting a Tablet Computer, and I can understand their attitude, but I can also understand that while tablets have some major drawbacks now, they are nothing compared to the drawbacks that they had even a year ago. If you think like that then you start to realize how fast tablets are advancing, and also, how far they can go.
