Samsung Galaxy tab 10.1
The Samsung Galaxy tab 10.1 is basically the second generation Galaxy Tab, and is definitely an improvement over the old one.
The main improvement is the processor, which is a single core in the old one, but is a dual core in the new one. Another major improvement is the weight, which has been decreased considerably(compared to the size of the device, but not that much in actual weight) in this model.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 also has dual cameras, one on the front and one on the back. The cameras aren't a new feature but they are better than the old ones. The overall form factor of the new one is on par with the Ipad 2, with both being almost the exact same thickness, and weight.
ProsThe main thing is the weight, which is less than the Ipad 2 by about an ounce. That may not be noticeable but it does put it on par with the Ipad as far as mobility is concerned. The next thing is the rear camera, which is 8 megapixels. That is as far as I know the highest megapixel camera on any tablet out there. That may not mean that the camera is better than others, but it does mean that its supposed to be better.
ConsBesides the size and weight of the tablet, it is exactly the same as almost every other android tablet. The only other thing, in my opinion, that keeps this tablet from being as good as the Ipad is the operating system, and the amount of apps available.
